Local EdSurge Tech Leaders Circle: Dallas/Fort Worth, TX 6.19.18

Dallas/Fort Worth Tech Leaders Circle

DATE: Tuesday, June 19th, 2018 | 6:30 – 8:30 PM

LOCATION: Good Shepherd Episcopal School | 11110 Midway Rd, Dallas, TX 75229 (View Map)

Connect with innovative K-12 educators from the Dallas/Fort Worth area at the EdSurge Dallas/Fort Worth Tech Leaders Circle hosted by local DFW educators!

Join us for a discussion around human-centered design (HCD) and how it intersects with education. Is HCD the same thing as “maker education”? How does HCD support the 4Cs? Guests will include faculty and staff from Good Shepherd Episcopal School as well as Stanford’s d.school, who will be here hosting their annual d.school Educators’ Workshop.

The EdSurge local Dallas/Fort Worth Tech Leaders Circle is a professional learning community of K-12 educators and school leaders. We promote authentic conversation, collaboration, sharing, and learning from the experiences, successes, and challenges educators are facing in their classrooms and schools. We believe in the power of educators coming together in person to solve their challenges. Local TLC chapters are organized by local educators, not affiliated with but supported by EdSurge.

Light refreshments and snacks will be served at this free event. We hope you will join us on June 19th at 6:30pm!

About EdSurge: Edsurge is a news and media company that reports on educational innovation and technology. We aim to connect the makers, users, and knowledge-seekers of edtech who share a common goal of improving teaching and learning.
